INTERNAL TRASH & RECYCLE CHUTES

Our trash chutes are better looking, longer lasting, easier to clean, and require less maintenance. Our trash chutes are also outfitted with the only intake door on the market with both front and back stainless panels and skirts. We offer many upgrades for our chutes. Call us for more details. These are just a few:

• Sound Insulation sprayed on at the factory which can be ordered in several thicknesses, batt-wrapped insulation, and isolator pads.
  
• Electric or Pneumatic Interlocks that lock out other chute doors when an intake is in use.
  
• Disinfecting & Sanitizing Systems are built into the chute above the top intake to clean and deodorize the chute.  It includes a stainless steel access door and valve system to connect to the building's plumbing system.
  
• Pass-Thru Doors located anywhere you need to pass trash through a wall. These doors are typically side-hinged, 18″W x 18″H with a thru-wall liner.  They offer a convenient option for first floor tenants to dispose of their trash into the trash room without entering the room.

INTERNAL LINEN CHUTES

Our linen chutes are better looking, longer lasting, easier to clean, and require less maintenance. Our linen chutes are also outfitted with the only intake door on the market with both front and back stainless panels and skirts. Linen chute features are as follows: 

• Access Doors for disinfecting and sanitizing systems are stainless steel (15″x15″) and come standard with ‘UL’ labels.
• Large Hopper Discharge Our hoppers are installed with reinforcement legs to provide lasting durability. The door is held open by fusible links which allow the door to close in the event of a fire. 
• 170-degree Door Swing for uninterrupted access to the chute at each intake.
• Protect Valuable Linens - No rivets or bolt protrusions into the chute.  The chutes are carefully constructed to ensure linens can pass freely and without worry of snags or tears.

TRASH COMPACTORS AND SORTERS

The DuraPak compactors and DuraBaggers are built for apartment, hospital, hotel and high-rise building trash rooms. Both are built with patented, revolutionary ‘quiet’ design technology and greatly reduce the volume of haul away debris. The DB500 has a UL labeled control panel.

The DuraSorter™ is an ideal way to manage recycling. When combined with our internal trash chutes in multi-story buildings, the DuraSorter™ recycling sorter provides an easy method for sorting recyclables out of the waste stream. You can prevent many of the recyclable materials from entering the environment and reducing the negative impact that comes with contentious property manager. The system can be used in either new construction projects or installed as a retrofit to an existing trash chute system.

CHUTE ODOR CONTROL

Controlling and containing odors within your trash chute system is an essential courtesy to the occupants of your building, but the task may conjure images of tedious manual scrubbing or frequent visits from a cleaning service. However, CHUTES International has devised a solution to not only keep troublesome odors under control, but to also make the process automated. Odor Butler Vapor applications are ideal in year round environments, locations with water restrictions or where conventional atomizing nozzles would have been positioned in areas not easily serviced.
